Some students never get a chance to shine because of favoritism. It quietly crushes confidence and makes them feel invisible. Classrooms should be safe spaces for every student, not just the ones the teacher naturally likes. I still remember in grade 7, my English teacher told me I couldn’t participate in the debate because I couldn’t reach the podium and gave my spot to someone else.

I agree, we all remember that one student who the teacher always “liked” more. And yeah, it mattered they got extra help, extra praise, even better grades sometimes. The rest of us? Just felt invisible. This stuff messes with learning way more than anyone admits.
