Education is not merely a gateway to knowledge, but a cornerstone of the prosperity of a country. In the case of Pakistan, there are many challenges faced by the education system, which hinder the realization of its full potential. There is a need for greater discussion on pertinent issues, as a robust educational framework is pivotal for the progress of our nation. We have, therefore, embarked on a journey to create an education magazine that will help improve the current debate taking place in the country. We keep stuffing outdated textbooks in front of students and then wonder why they’re not learning. The content doesn’t match real life. Update the curriculum, make it practical, and stop teaching just to pass exams.

Somewhere along the way, we made grades the whole point of education. But real learning starts when children feel supported, motivated, confident, and valued.

Let’s start with basics: classrooms, toilets, and electricity. You can’t talk about “quality education” when these poor souls sit on the floor and in extreme weather conditions!!

Replace lecture scripts with short, ready-to-use lesson plans that focus on reading, numeracy, and discussion. Teachers must do these in class.
